Monique Bergh

Monique Bergh

Position Physiotherapist (Partner)

Monique works hard because she loves her work and is passionate about helping those in need. She obtained her degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Pretoria in 2004. She worked at 1 Military Hospital and in 2008 entered the private sector. She became a partner in 2015. She is extremely driven and motivated and loves to give as much of herself and her time as she can. She is passionate about babies and children (with respiratory, musculoskeletal and milestone challenges), women’s health and incontinence and loves treating hospital patients with evidence based treatment techniques. She has completed courses for Dry needling level 1&2, Women’s health and Pelvic floor, [CFT] Craniofascial Sacral Therapy (adults and paediatrics), many Respiratory courses and Cardiothoracic and pulmonary rehabilitation courses. She is a member of the Critical Care Society of South Africa and is motivated to introduce new equipment and techniques into the practice to keep all treatments evidence based and as efficient as possible. She has compassion and a loving nature and thrives on helping others.

Neil Cilliers

Neil Cilliers

Position Physiotherapist (Partner)

Neil is a dynamic and enthusiastic physiotherapist with a special interest and passion for the identification and management of sport and musculoskeletal conditions. He obtained his Physiotherapy degree from the University of the Free State in 2014. After working in the public and private sector Neil became a partner in 2016. He enjoys being instrumental in assisting patients to return to their daily lives free of pain, thereby improving their quality of life. His biggest passion is in getting sportsmen and –women back onto the playing field whether it be social participants or elite professionals. He aspires to broaden his experience and knowledge in the identification and management of musculoskeletal and sports related injuries and conditions in a private practice setting as well as the management and growth of a private practice. He has completed the following courses: Mckenzie MDT Part A – The lumbar spine, Dry Needling Level 1, Fascial Manipulation level 1, Kinesio Taping level 1, How to start your own private practice and Managing a private practice.

Cathleen Woest

Cathleen Woest

Position Physiotherapist

Cathleen is a dynamic and hardworking physiotherapist with a vibrant and positive attitude towards her work and life in general. She will go the extra mile for every patient. She completed her BSc Physiotherapy degree at the University of Pretoria in 2013. She is passionate about pulmonary care, children’s therapy, incontinence, neurology, rehabilitation, hydrotherapy and special needs children. She has completed courses in theraband exercise programs, dry needling level 1 and 2. She has compassion for all those in need.

Danielle Foot

Danielle Foot

Position Physiotherapist

She is a hardworking, evidence-based, investigative physiotherapist. She is soft-hearted and genuine with all she meets. She gives her best in everything and for everyone. She believes in a multi-disciplinary team approach. She received the award for the best undergraduate student in Allied Health Science at Stellenbosch University 2016 and best BSc in Physiotherapy Student in 2013 and 2016. She also received the award for the best undergraduate research project at the Physiotherapy Division in 2016 which she presented at the World Confederation for Physical Therapy Congress in 2017. She obtained her Bachelor of Science of Physiotherapy at Stellenbosch University Cum Laude in 2016. She has completed courses in strapping, lumbar spine, dry needling, woman’s health, cerebral palsy, mechanical ventilation, vertigo and pain. She is currently busy with her OMPTG Course (Orthopaedic Manual Therapy) to increase her evaluation reasoning, knowledge and skills.

Drikus is a highly-motivated physiotherapist, eagerly ready for each new challenge. As a young athlete he had his fair share of injuries and this led him to physiotherapy. He has had first-hand experience in the difference a physiotherapist can make in one’s life, not only on the sports field but also in everyday live. He is passionate about helping others improve their health and quality of life. He obtained his Bachelor of Science of Physiotherapy at Stellenbosch University in 2015. He completed courses in strapping, sport massage, dry needling and lumbar spine. He is currently busy with his SPT (Sport Physiotherapy) Course to improve his treatment skills and knowledge.

Henriette is a self-motivated and driven physiotherapist. Her work ethic is of the highest standard. She is very professional and she works with precision. She stays up to date with research to ensure that her treatments are evidence based and effective. She obtained het physiotherapy degree at the University of Pretoria in 1995 and has been working in private practice in Midstream for close to 10 years. She has completed the OMT1 course and she is passionate about manual therapy for pain management and orthopaedic rehabilitation

Luzaan Haasbroek

Position Physiotherapist

Luzaan is fun-loving and dynamic. She has a caring heart and gives extra time and effort to every patient. She works well in a team and her positivity and cheerfulness is contagious . She has a heart for children and all those in need. She obtained her physiotherapy degree from the University of the Free State in 2013. She has completed the modern clinical pilates course as well as all dry needling modules. She has completed the spinal and peripheral manipulation course and she is currently completing her comprehensive pilates teacher training course from BASI Pilates.

Rudolph Krause

Rudolph Krause

Position Physiotherapist

Rudolph is a young and motivated physiotherapist that has completed his BSc Physiotherapy degree at the University of The Free State in 2012. He is passionate about helping patients and making a difference, big or small in their lives and also improving their quality of life. He enjoys working in the rooms, but his interest lies in hospital work and also doing an occasional home visit to assist an elderly or weak patient that is not able to attend a treatment session at the practice. He aspires to become better in the profession and to improve himself in such a way that he can become the best therapist that he can be. He has completed the following courses: Simplifying shoulder diagnosis and treatment, Dry Needling Part A and B, McKenzie Part A, Biomechanics of the Patellofemoral Joint and treatment of Patellofemoral Joint pain, Kinesiology strapping of the Upper Limbs, Bridging the rehab-to-performance gap.

Tania is a warm hearted and endearing person with a heart for all, big and small. She is passionate about paediatrics and woman's health and goes out of her way to make those individuals under her care feel valued. She is a team player and has an easy-going and loving personality. She obtained her degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Pretoria in 2004. She completed the following courses: Dry needling, post mastectomy rehabilitation, respiratory care, TMJ management and various orthopaedic CPD accredited courses.

Lizette is the practice manager and coordinator. She is a talented, strong-willed worker. She is able to work at both, a high and detailed level, embracing tasks and roles as necessary to ensure success. She takes on every opportunity that comes her way and strives to make a success of it. She is energetic, loves new challenges, and she is a dedicated worker. She is the friendly face that greets you, forming good relationships and putting a smile on all the faces around her. She has more than 10 years’ experience in the corporate environment, management and HR and joined our team in 2017 to ensure the smooth running of the practice.

Position Receptionist at Midstream Hill Medical Park

Alicia is our receptionist at Midstream Hill Medical Park. She has 17 years medical receptionist experience, working in the hospital as well as in doctor's rooms. She joined our team in 2016. She has a wonderful sense of humour and an uplifting personality. She forms a bond with every patient and goes the extra mile to accommodate patients and patient’s needs and requests. She absolutely loves what she does and has a huge passion for patients and fellow colleagues! Patients will always be first and most important to her!

Position Receptionist at Midstream Medical Centre

Celia is our receptionist at Midstream Medical Centre. She has more than 30 years’ experience in reception, accounts and office administration. She thrives on communication with people and has empathy in abundance. Every patient that comes for treatment is special and is treated with care. Her soft-hearted and understanding nature makes all patients feel welcome and valued.

Position Accounting

Rufaro is in charge of billing and accounts. She does her work with precision and accuracy. She is extremely dedicated, hardworking and trustworthy. She has been a physiotherapy practice manager since 2011 and studied accounting part time. She obtained her diploma from the South African Association of Accountants in 2016. She joined our team in 2015. She has caring nature and is a team player. She always does so much more than what is expected and her contribution to our practice is invaluable.
